Green Mountain Trails – Pittsfield

Travel north on VT-100 to the quaint village of Pittsfield for a full day of bunny hops, gnarls, grinders, and switchbacks on various Green Mountain Trails. A visit to Vermont isn’t complete without a cross-country trek on the “GMT Loop,” a 14.3-mile ascent into the colorful Green Mountains. Expert mountain bikers should also embark on the 5.4-mile Cascada trail, 1,000-foot descent to the base of the mountain range. This extreme natural wonderland is only eight miles north of Killington, making it a must-visit for any earnest mountain biker.
