Peak & Pond, a Mountain View Retreat

South View Path
Welcome to South View Path, a spacious five-bedroom, 4.5-bath mountain retreat designed for gathering, relaxing, and having a little fun along the way. With room to sleep at least 12 guests, multiple living spaces, unique entertainment features, and a private setting surrounded by Vermont scenery, this home is perfect for families and groups looking for more than just a place to sleep.

Inside, warm wood details, exposed beams, oversized windows, and comfortable furnishings give the home a classic mountain-lodge feel. With two separate living rooms, there is plenty of room for everyone to spread out—whether you are catching up by the fire, watching TV, playing games, or simply putting your feet up after a day on the mountain.

And when we say entertainment, we mean it. Relive a little nostalgia with actual arcade machines, or gather the crew in the home's private movie theater. Bring your favorite DVDs, grab the popcorn, sink into the theater seating, and make it a proper movie night.

Of course, movie night may have to wait until after you've soaked away the day's adventures in the rooftop hot tub. Surrounded by the peaceful mountain setting, it is a pretty spectacular place to unwind after skiing, hiking, or exploring Killington. For even more relaxation, step into the home's wood-lined wet sauna and enjoy your own après-ski retreat without ever leaving the house.

The kitchen offers plenty of room for preparing meals for a crowd, but one of the home's standout gathering spaces is the restaurant-style dining area, complete with booth-style seating and a large central table. Whether it's pancakes before first chair, a big family dinner, or late-night cards and drinks, there is room to bring everyone together.

When it is time to settle in for the night, five bedrooms provide flexible sleeping arrangements for families and groups:

Bedroom 1: King bed and twin bed
Bedroom 2: Queen bed and twin bed
Bedroom 3: Queen bed
Bedroom 4: Two queen beds
Bedroom 5: King bed
With 4.5 bathrooms, mornings are a little easier even with a full house.

Outside, South View Path feels tucked into the Vermont landscape, with wooded surroundings, mountain views, and plenty of privacy. In warmer months, enjoy the lawn and outdoor seating; when winter arrives, the property turns into the kind of snow-covered mountain escape people picture when they think of a Vermont vacation.

Whether you're coming to ski, hike, celebrate with friends, or simply disappear into the mountains for a few days, South View Path gives you plenty of reasons to stay in as well as go out. Between the rooftop hot tub, sauna, arcade games, movie theater, multiple living areas, and room for the whole group, this is one vacation home where downtime may end up being everyone's favorite part of the trip.
