About Woodward Park

This experiential action sports company inspires next-generation sports experiences. Its latest destination in Killington comes to life as the premier East Coast destination for action sports progression, offering a wide array of mountain experiences. Novices and experienced athletes alike are welcome. All you need is an interest to get started!

Woodward Mountain Park

In winter, the Woodward Mountain Park provides skiing and snowboarding opportunities on three types of terrain: Learning, Experiential, and Performance. Different zones within each level provide opportunities for growth and progress. Seasoned staff are there to help you develop new skills and attain your goals, but ultimately, it is up to you to choose your own path. While it is always encouraged to push yourself to the next level, really, it comes down to having fun!

The award-winning Killington Snow Sports School provides lessons to anyone who needs direct coaching. Classes are available from all levels, from absolute beginner to advanced. You may opt for group or private lessons. Camps targeted at groups such as racers and women.

The Donna Weinbrecht Women’s Camp, for instance, provides women the opportunity to learn directly from Olympic gold medalist Donna Weinbrecht. Those hoping to perfect their racing skills can sign up for a 2- or 5-day race camp to hone their skills.

Even kids can get in on the action. For the first time, Woodwark is offering camps for children between the ages of 2-15. Campers are organized by age and ability into small groups where children receive maximum mentorship and opportunity for growth in a personalized environment.

Don’t have your own gear? The park rents out all the equipment you need to get out on the slopes. Seasonal, multi-day, and single-day lift tickets are available for purchase in advance. The sooner you purchase online, the more likely you are to receive a discount so book sooner than later. If you opt to purchase tickets in person, a full day on the slopes during peak season costs $130 for adults.

Woodward WreckTangle

When the snow melts, there is still plenty to keep you active. The Woodward WreckTangle ninja obstacle course provides 10 unique and challenging obstacles. Progressive course options are available; participants may choose their ability level and work towards improvement. July marks the annual Fastest Ninja contest where ninjas of all ages compete for a mountain trip-for-two prize. Participants compete to be crowned the winner of their age group, winner in Killington, and World’s Fastest Ninja.

There are also mountain biking trails, some of which are easy enough to take kids out for an adventure. In August, one-hour sessions with pro rider Jake Kinney are free to join and are a great way to push yourself while learning more about the sport.
